Do you ever feel like life is an uphill battle? Are you goal oriented? Do you set in place steps to achieve those goals? Are you a dreamer? Do you see yourself going places? Are you filled with hope and aspirations to do big amazing things? From an early age we are asked, what do be when we grow up? And these questions are healthy as to provide ambition, vision, and purpose. However, as we mature into adulthood and experience a sense of urgency to climb to the top, most of us fail to realize we are already there.
Already there?!? Yes! you have arrived at your destination. As we have shared earlier in this relationship series, the only relationship that truly matters is the one with God our father and understanding His Good Orderly Direction in our lives. Oh how he loves us! A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so must you love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. John 13:34-35 Try this out for a day. If you like it, keep doing it. You can always go back to looking at life from the bottom up. There will always be a mountain for you to climb. But if you will, come to the realization that you have already arrived. You already stand at the top of the mountain. You have found God. And he has choosen and created you to do amazing things. God has provided a way for us to be with Him. He has provided a reset, a new start, daily through Jesus Christ. He has given us a map and a compass to navigate and comfort us through life. We can see these things through the Bible and the Holy Ghost. Through these things alone, you have everything you need to live a full and fulfilling life. Now that you are at the top of the mountain, what do you do? You help others find this summit. Up here, all our problems are below us. Nothing can stand in our way. Help bring others to this understanding and love them as He has loved us. I know that if you choose this perspective and outlook on life, not only will you achieve a happiness and understanding of why we are here, but you will be given the opportunity to develop and grow some amazing relationships and community. I am blessed to be at the top with you. Lets all encourage others to stand up here with us because from the bottom, the top looks a long and hard way up. The work has been done. We have Jesus and he changes everything.
