Every 4th Sunday of every month we prepare a meal for 30-40 adults.
These meals are theme inspired and are a great opportunity for us to learn to cook great menu items.
This also is a great opportunity for us to come together and grow together between our quarterly events.
Why the Frederick Rescue Mission?
The rescue mission provides so many services for our community. And outside of volunteer help, most of the work is provided by men who are striving to change their lives in recovery. And we seek to love these men through their stomachs. It is in this transition from the Mission into the work place and new housing, the need for community and relationship is so great. And we are given an opportunity each month to offer these relationships, to pour out Christ like love, and to ultimately serve the men and mission for all they do for this great city of Frederick.
